CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.
Information:
- Location: Newcastle - Cobalt Park
- Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
- Hours: Average 42 hours per week
- Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days, Nights & Weekends
Job Requirements:
- SIA DS Licence required
- 5* Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year an advantage
- Ex forces would be an advantage
- Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times
- Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills
- Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
- A friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character
- To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable
About You:
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports
- To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language
- To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms
- Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner
- Able to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels
- Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, and disseminate information in a timely manner during an emergency or incident on site
- The role includes conducting opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, and conducting emergency procedures
- You will be part of a team seeing this site through from refurbishment to business as usual and must be comfortable working on a construction site moving into an office environment
- To have a smart appearance befitting the company
- Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
- Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
