Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer/Security Supervisor for the educational sector, who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users at the University of Westminster. The role is based in their Harrow campus in north-west London. The Security Officer will develop and lead operational excellence and best practice; optimising our service and value offering to customers to achieve performance targets. You will bring innovation and leadership and ensure a high-performance culture within your remit. - Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills
- Security Experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor is essential – Education Sector experience desirable.
- A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character
- To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable

- To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
- Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner and speak, very important in Corporate Industry.
- Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.
- Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, – Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.
- The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, conducting emergency procedures. You will be part of a team seeing this site through from refurbishment to business as usual and must be comfortable working on a construction site moving into an office environment.
