CIS Security has an exciting opportunity available for a Security Officer who will be an ambassador for the company, demonstrating and delivering high-quality guarding and customer service to both clients and service users.

Information:

  • Position: Security Officer
  • Location: London (W1T)
  • Pay Rate: Β£13.85 per hour
  • Hours: Average 42 hours per week
  • Shifts: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights

Job Requirements:

  • SIA Licence required
  • Security experience preferred
  • Physically fit for patrols and able to stand/walk in all weathers
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills
  • Good command of English and IT skills
  • Reliable, confident, punctual, and committed
  • Smart appearance
  • Flexible approach to duties and events
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Calm personality for controlling difficult situations
  • Ability to undertake all duties and provide necessary documentation
  • Additional qualifications like CCTV licence & First Aid are a bonus

Duties:

  • Work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Conduct estate patrols
  • Be punctual for shifts at 06:50 or 18:50
  • Lead by example and support team progression
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and service providers
  • Adapt to new duties as the contract evolves
  • Prevent unauthorized access professionally
  • Adhere to the client’s permit to work system
  • Respond calmly to fire alarms
  • Monitor visitors and baggage, ensure signage is correct
  • Book visitors and announce them appropriately
  • Perform internal and external patrols and report observations or defects
  • Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering
  • Assist visitors with local information
  • Check vulnerable points and ensure exits are secure
