CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Response Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users at a revitalised urban space blending historic charm with modern development.

Position: Security Response Officer

Location: Central Leeds (L1)

Pay Rate: Site Related Pay

Hours: Average 20 hours per week

Shifts: Various Shifts - Days, Nights & Weekends

Job Requirements:

  • SIA licence required
  • Security and customer service experience is required
  • Must have good command of English language
  • Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
  • Duties include patrols, checking cameras and access control to the building out of hours - experience in this is essential
  • Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
  • Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
  • Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
  • First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable
  • Must have five years of checkable work history

Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users
  • Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet
  • Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Confident in writing incident and shift reports
  • To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language
  • To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service at all times
  • The role includes conducting opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, gatehouse duties, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, and conducting emergency procedures
