Overview
We are looking for someone who has a bubbly welcoming personality for this new Front of House Officer position at one of our newly refurbished high profiled sites based near St Paul\\\’s Cathedral in the City of London. The role of the Front of House Team will be pivotal to ensuring that tenants, customers, and guests will have a first-class experience when visiting.
About the role
Position: Front of House Officer
Location: Central London (EC4M)
Pay Rate: ÂŁ14.40 per hour
Hours: 50 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00
Job Requirements
- SIA licence required
- Experience in high end corporate front of house or concierge services
- IT Literate – Basic understanding of access control systems and IT systems/programmes, e.g., Microsoft Office for emails
- Ideally to have an understanding of a visitor management system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service
- Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills
- Reliable, Responsible and punctual
- A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character
- To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
- Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties
- Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls
- Conducting emergency procedures, providing a warm 5-star greeting
- Deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users
- Work in a team as well as on your own; be pro-active and think on your feet; use initiative
- Remain calm under pressure and handle confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
- Portrait a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour using open and appropriate body language
- Ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service
- Be responsible for the efficient running of reception, concierge or bookings desks with the professionalism and knowledge required for each location
- Check guests in & out promptly
- Ensure great teamwork within and outside the department; demonstrate a \”can do\” approach and solutions
- Be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of your allocated area including filing and next shift preparation
- Assist in any other reasonable duties as required
