CIS Security has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer to join our team at the brand new prestigious The Turing Building. The building offers 350,000 sq. ft of office space across 22 floors within the International Quarter London development. As an ambassador of CIS Security, you will represent both our brand and our customer, delivering a professional, customer-focused security service. The building will be run by sophisticated technology with a collaborative service team.

- Pay Rate: £15.24 per hour
- Hours: Average 42 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off – Days & Nights
Responsibilities
- Conduct opening and closing procedures.
- Perform internal and external patrols.
- Monitor access control and key control/permit checks.
- Operate CCTV systems and other security technology.
- Maintain incident logs and ensure all paperwork is up to date.
- Complete audits for the site and provide training to new staff.
- Manage emergency situations, respond quickly, and follow site-specific procedures.
- Follow safety and security protocols, including emergency alarms.
- Communicate with site personnel and appropriately escalate incidents.
- Use monitoring and communication facilities to ensure site security at all times.
- Support the Control Room and Controller with day‑to‑day site operations.
- Issue access passes and monitor life safety systems when required.
Requirements
- SIA Licence required; SIA CCTV Licence desirable. DS Licence preferred.
- Corporate security, concierge or hospitality background, or front‑of‑house experience of at least 1 year.
- Flexible availability for days, nights and weekends, adapting to operational needs.
- First Aid training and completion of all EdApp courses.
- Physically fit – able to patrol and stand for extended periods.
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and security management systems.
- Fluent written and verbal English with excellent communication skills.
- Decisive action under pressure, especially during emergencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills – able to work in a team and independently.
- Immaculate personal presentation and reliability to uphold the company’s image.
- Calm under pressure, maintaining professionalism in confrontational situations.
- Courteous and outgoing demeanour with outstanding customer service skills.
