A diverse and dynamic opportunity has arisen for a Security Supervisor. This position requires someone who can uphold and maintain the discreet, resident-focused security culture expected within a super-prime residential environment, while supporting the delivery of an exceptional, service-led security operation. The Supervisor will lead and oversee the on-site security team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism across the estate, with responsibility for team performance, incident management, and maintaining a consistently high-quality security presence.
This site is a landmark Grade II listed mixed-use development in the heart of Bayswater, comprising luxury residential apartments, Six Senses London hotel, premium retail, Everyman Cinema, Third Space gym, and a 128-space basement car park. The estate is home to ultra-high-net-worth residents and international guests who expect an exceptional, discreet, and service-led security presence at all times.
Responsibilities- Supervise, mentor, and performance-manage the security officer team across all shifts, ensuring consistent standards of conduct, presentation, and service delivery.
- Conduct regular patrols of all estate areas including residential cores, basement levels, car parks, retail promenades, external perimeters, and plant rooms.
- Act as on-site incident commander for security, fire, medical, and emergency events, coordinating with the control room, concierge, and emergency services.
- Conduct daily briefings and shift handovers, ensuring all officers are informed of live issues, resident sensitivities, and planned activities.
- Oversee contractor and visitor management processes, ensuring compliance with estate access protocols and health and safety requirements.
- Monitor and enforce estate rules and policies, including anti-social behaviour procedures, with professionalism and discretion.
- Liaise with Six Senses London, Everyman Cinema, Third Space, and retail tenants on shared security and operational matters.
- Produce and review incident reports, daily logs, and security summaries to a premium standard, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support the Head of Security and Estate Director with investigations, evidence gathering, and CCTV reviews as required.
- Identify and escalate security vulnerabilities, maintenance issues, and health and safety concerns proactively.
- Lead fire evacuation drills and ensure all officers are trained and confident in emergency response procedures.
- Minimum 5 years' security experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within super-prime residential, luxury hospitality, or high-profile mixed-use environments.
- Demonstrable leadership and team management skills, with experience conducting performance reviews and supporting colleagues to meet expected standards.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills – able to engage confidently and discreetly with residents, hotel guests, and senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing incidents and emergencies calmly and decisively.
- Excellent written English; reports, emails, and logs must be clear, accurate, and professionally presented.
- Strong working knowledge of security systems including CCTV, access control, and fire panels.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional bearing.
