The CCTV Operator will develop and lead operational excellence and best practice; optimising our service and value offering to customers to achieve performance targets. You will bring innovation and leadership and ensure a high-performance culture within your remit. This is an active and visible role requiring strong leadership competence in addition to entrepreneurial ability, customer interaction is significant and excellent relationship management skills are required.The CCTV Controller is responsible for controlling the shift operational requirements in line with the customer and contractual expectations. The CCTV Controller plays an integral role in ensuring that consistently high standards of security, safety and customer care are always delivered.Information:Position: CCTV OperatorLocation: London (W5)Pay Rate: Β£14.72 per hourHours: Average 42 hours per week Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days & Nights Job Requirements:SIA CCTV Licence required.SIA Door Supervisor Licence
required.Corporate CCTV security experience required.Excellent PC skills and Microsoft knowledge required.Experience of working in a demanding, high-pressure environmentExcellent understanding of access control & CCTV systemsCustomer focused, with a strong knowledge of customer service skills.Demonstrate a strong aptitude for multi-tasking.Excellent written and verbal communication.Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.Team player, who will support colleagues and provide ideas to improve service delivery.Ability to think and act quickly in emergency incidents or under pressure.Job Responsibilities:Deliver and encourage outstanding customer service delivery.Ensure that all security personnel always adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site, reporting any breach of these to the Duty Security Manager and the Security ManagerTo monitor the CCTV cameras within the Security Control RoomArrange for the collation and viewing of CCTV images in response to
incident management, in line with the CCTV Code of PracticePrepare and maintain the Security Control Room equipment for operational use.Ensure the Security Control Room is kept tidy.To monitor, operate and report all Security Control Room technologies (intruder alarms, access control systems, BMS, fire alarm system, lift intercoms, lift monitoring stations)To be conversant with all life safety systems and assist in responding to all emergencies promptly as illustrated in the Assignment InstructionsInspect equipment for failures and faults, reporting these in line with procedures.Maintain accurate daily electronic occurrence log records (via the CIS HUB)Maintain the MyTag system, ensuring all assets are accounted for, all patrols are completed, and all compliance checks are completed.Reporting any discrepancies on the MyTAG system to your Duty Security Manager & Security ManagerProducing site access control passesResponsible for the administration of lost & found property.Book on all
members of the security team correctly at the start of each shiftCheck SIA licences & CIS IDs of all oncoming team membersReport any issues or incidents to the Duty Security Manager or Security ManagerRespond to all incidents in line with policies and procedures.Ensure all incidents and issues are formally investigated and recorded.Assist the Duty Security Manager and Security Manager as per the needs of the site.Provide effective support during incidents and lead incident response in the Duty Security Manager\'s absence .Maintain a high level of morale and discipline within the team, taking into consideration their welfare.Carry out training with Security Officer\'s and ensure that there are suitable personnel on your shift able to step up and cover your role.To cover for the Duty Security Manager in any instance of absenceMonitor, report and update the site training matrix.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to
