Role Overview
CIS are looking for a motivated individual eager to begin a career in IT within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This role is designed for those with limited or no commercial IT experience — whether you’re a recent graduate, have just completed an IT apprenticeship, or simply have the attitude and drive to succeed.
From day one you’ll be supported with a team of senior engineers, structured study time built into your working week, and company-funded certifications — all part of a clear development pathway towards becoming a fully capable Systems Engineer. The role offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to kick‑start their career while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- A genuine interest in technology and a strong desire to learn and develop
- Good communication skills — you’ll be speaking with customers daily by phone and email

- The ability to follow processes, document work clearly, and work to agreed timeframes
- Basic confidence using computers and everyday business applications
- GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience in the following would be beneficial, but is not required:

- Some exposure to Windows desktop or server environments
