Overview

A great opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the team at Happy Days Nursery in Boughton Monchelsea and undertake their Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years while earning whilst you learn. Happy Days has over thirty years of expert experience and prides itself on providing a service that supports children to become strong and motivated learners for life.

What You Will Be Doing

As a nursery apprentice you will be mentored and supported through a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification while working alongside our staff team to create a safe and stimulating environment for children in line with our bespoke curriculum and EYFS framework. You will learn as you progress your career, building upon knowledge of child development, safeguarding, health and well‑being and beyond.

Happy Days partners with Realise, a training provider delivering exciting early years apprenticeships. You will work with your assigned tutor to progress through a comprehensive programme with support such as 1‑2‑1 meetings, group webinars and observations.

As an Early Years Apprentice you will be committed to entering a career in childcare and completing the qualifications needed to achieve this. You will have an ability to interact with young children, a basic understanding of child development, and a passion for providing quality experiences. Balancing home study and nursery work is essential, so you will plan your time effectively to ensure timely completion. Safeguarding is of utmost importance, and you will communicate effectively with staff, families and children in a polite and friendly manner.
