Happy Days Nurseries Summercourt, in Newquay, is seeking a Lunch Cover Assistant to join our team, Monday to Friday, all year round.
Your role as Lunch Cover Assistant is to inspire the future for our children by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum Where Children Shine.
Responsibilities
- Embodying our SHINE values (Support, Honesty, Inspiration, Nurturing and Empowerment) in everything you do
- Supporting the effective running on the nursery by being organised, and having the ability to plan and prioritise your work
- Being positive, confident and honest
- Having great initiative and a can do attitude
- Knowing and upholding our policies, procedures and established working practices
- Being a key person for a group of children, ensuring that their care and development needs are being met at all times
- Using our unique curriculum to observe, plan and assess childrens learning opportunities
- Understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety and welfare requirement policies and practices
- Be a dedicated team player, and valuing the experience and skills of your colleagues
