Using your skills, you’ll bring best practice experience to align our managed services customers’ infrastructure to a high standard and identify opportunities for customer improvement. Once you have successfully completed your probationary period and have a good understanding of our customer base and services, you will join our on-call rota (roughly 1 week in 12) to support our Managed Services customer base outwith business hours. An additional payment is available to support this service.
Responsibilities:
- Building positive customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities or new services that would support the customers business;
- Working closely with the project team to deliver projects to a high standard, to the project scope within the time and budget constraints;
- Support Solutions Architects in hands on project delivery;
- Applying and challenging best practices to ensure a secure, optimised and efficient AWS infrastructure across our customer base;
- Act as a point of escalation for technical outages/issues;
- Identifying the root cause of issues and reporting to the customer / internal teams;
- Working directly with our customers daily on project delivery;
- Attendance at client meetings and company events where required;
- Involvement in maintaining our high level standard of delivery.
Experience (Essential):
- A minimum of an Associate AWS certification;
- Previous experience in customer facing role;
- Three or more years’ experience with core AWS Services including Load Balancing, EC2, RDS, CloudFront, S3 and CloudWatch;
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as CloudFormation, Terraform or Serverless Framework;
