We're seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to take ownership of critical engineering projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving the successful delivery of advanced electronic sub‑systems. The opportunity
As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering complex engineering projects to demanding cost, quality and schedule targets. Working closely with engineering, programme and stakeholder teams, you will ensure projects are executed efficiently whilst managing risk, resources and customer expectations. This role offers a clear progression path into senior leadership positions, with opportunities to manage larger portfolios, lead teams, and expand your strategic influence across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes from concept through to production
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets and risks
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders
- Drive project performance, governance and reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with project management best practice
- Mentor and support junior project management professionals
- Contribute to continuous improvement and delivery strategy initiatives
What we are looking for
- A solid background in the engineering development of electronics units
- Experience of Project Management best practice: Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Compliance Management, Configuration Management and Earned Value Management.
- Experience of delivering significant project/programmes on time and to cost.
- Experience of project management across the various phases; from project conception and initiation to project close.
- Individuals with excellent communication skills; able to influence others to their way of thinking; organised with an eye for detail and a sense of pride in what they deliver.
