Are you a seasoned Test Systems Design Engineer with a passion for mechanical design and a desire to make a real impact in defence technology? Our client, a leading systems provider based in Stevenage, is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative test equipment team on a permanent basis.
This pivotal role involves supporting all stages of the product lifecycle, mainly designing and developing bespoke test equipment solutions for next-generation weapon systems. You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that values expertise, collaboration, and continuous development.
In this position, your experience in test equipment design, combined with a strong mechanical background, will be essential. You should be familiar with 3D CAD/CAE tools, GD&T principles, and possess an understanding of manufacturing processes, thermal management, and environmental testing.
