As a New Business Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex bid activities from initial kick-off through to commercial approval, coordinating multi-functional teams and ensuring compelling, competitive and deliverable proposals are produced to demanding customer timescales.

This is a role with genuine visibility.

You will work across project management, engineering, operations, procurement, finance, commercial and customer-facing teams, giving you the opportunity to build relationships at senior level while developing your project and programme management career.

What will you be doing?

You will lead and coordinate multiple bids across domestic and international markets, bringing together the right people, information and commercial inputs to deliver high-quality proposals.

You are likely to bring

  • Experience of project management, bid management, programme management or a closely related environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary or cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of cost, schedule, risk and delivery.
  • A structured and organised approach to managing complex work.
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • The ability to challenge constructively, identify issues early and drive activities through to completion.

  • Experience within defence, aerospace, engineering, technology or another highly regulated industry would be advantageous.
