Salary up to £43,500 + Bonus | Overtime | Pension
You've fixed problems on the line that nobody else could work out. You've taken a half-finished design and turned it into something that actually runs on the shop floor. This is a manufacturing engineering role inside one of the UK's most important defence production environments, working on lines that build genuinely critical kit. You'll take design intent and turn it into manufacturing reality, covering build instructions, tooling, FMEAs, and non-conformance resolution, working directly with a Principal Engineer rather than in isolation.
There's also a clear growth path here, into industrial validation and factory of the future work as the site expands.
What's in it for you:
- Circa £43,500, plus up to £2,500 bonus
- Pension up to 14% combined contribution
- Up to 15 extra flexi leave days on top of standard holiday
- Paid overtime when you want it
- Enhanced parental leave, healthcare cash plan, subsidised meals, free parking
What you'll need:
- Engineering apprenticeship to NVQ3 plus HNC (or a relevant engineering degree)
- Ability to read a design drawing and turn it into a manufacturing instruction
- British citizenship, since security clearance is required.
