Hardware Design Engineer role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Hardware Design Engineers to support the design, integration, and validation of test system hardware solutions under guidance to join our highly skilled and dynamic Test Equipment Design Team. We can offer you a stimulating and rewarding role coupled with an exciting career path!

Your role will be to support and carry out design activities in line with specifications and to conduct standard technical investigations with support from Principal Engineers. You will report and escalate any technical problems/issues, support development of Test Equipment through the product lifecycle, support process improvement activities, participate in bid activities, and facilitate the development of successful bids.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Practical working knowledge of test needs and techniques in support of product lifecycle development
  • Experience of design proving and performance testing during development (preferential)
  • Experience of Environmental and EMC testing during qualification (desirable)
  • Strong document writing skills related to TE hardware design needs
