This is not a paperwork role. This is the commercial engine room of a multinational business. You’ll lead the full route to contract, from bid phase through negotiation, execution and delivery. You’ll shape terms, challenge risk, protect margin, and enable growth. You’ll work MoD frameworks, DEFCONs, QDCs, and negotiate bespoke terms. You’ll sit at the table when the business wins new work, not hear about it afterwards. When programmes move into delivery, you stay involved with amendments, compliance, risk, and disputes, making sure commitments are commercially sound and defensible.
What is needed:
- Commercial Management experience in Defence or similar environments
- Leadership and line management experience
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation capability
- Confidence operating across bids and programme delivery
- Understanding of MoD contracting structures
What’s on offer:
- Salary circa £62k–£70k
- Bonus up to 21%
- Pension up to 14% combined contribution
- Hybrid working, 2–3 days on site
- Long-term programme security
Due to security clearance requirements, you will hold British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship. If you’re already operating in a commercial environment and want broader influence across the full lifecycle, this is worth a conversation.
