Salary: Up to £43,000 P/A + benefits (plus Overtime, Flexi and Bonus)

Hours: 37 hours per week

The opportunity: The Mechanical Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for carrying out the production, repair, and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specification requirements.

You will:

  • Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.
  • Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools, and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
  • Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and where relevant, inspection times are met.
  • Check and complete all required manufacturing data requirements.
  • Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
  • Certify the product in line with the product certification procedure.
  • Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a good housekeeping policy.
  • Communicate best practice to other team members.

Qualification and Skills Required:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard)
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.)
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ)
  • A team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus.
  • Proven planning and organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach

You will need to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role. This will require you to be either a full UK Citizen or dual national with British Citizenship. Some restrictions may apply.
