Cirrus Logic is looking for talented Summer and MEng Engineering Interns to join their experienced engineering teams in both Edinburgh and Newbury, and work on industrial projects relevant to their degree. This exciting opportunity includes openings in the following areas:

  • Design – analog and digital
  • Product Test
  • Verification
  • Applications Validation
  • Technology

Summer placements running between June and September. MEng placements running between April and January.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Enrolled in MEng or BEng in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (or related) degree and on track for a 2:1 or better.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Solid understanding of analogue and digital integrated circuit design fundamentals.
  • Understanding of CMOS operational amplifier design.
  • Strong lab and silicon validation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This opportunity is available to students currently enrolled in a MEng or BEng in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (or related) degree on track for a 2:1 or better. Candidates must be available for full time employment during the internship. Opportunities in both Edinburgh and Newbury and you must be based within commutable distance of either location for the duration of your internship.

Candidates for this role must meet U.S. export control eligibility requirements. Due to U.S. export control restrictions and the short duration of this internship, we are unable to sponsor or obtain deemed export licenses for this role.

Cirrus Logic follows a 2+ day in-office work schedule but interns should expect to be in the office more often, up to 5 days per week, based on business needs and team preference. Interns must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning their internship with Cirrus Logic.
