Cirrus Logic is looking for a skilled Staff Product Test Engineer to contribute to our global success story at our state-of-the-art Edinburgh office. Operating in the UK, using excellent technical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, you will have the opportunity to develop new test techniques and methodologies to test, characterise and qualify our ICs. You will also be given the chance to share your knowledge and support the development of more junior members of the team. In return, Cirrus Logic offers an exceptionally unique environment where innovation is not only encouraged but rewarded.Key Responsibilities:Design innovative multi-sites hardware and software solutions to achieve low test time and minimise production costsOptimise and monitor production yieldDevelop robust and precise ATE Characterisation and Qualification solutionsCollaborate with IC design engineers to define test methodologies and lead Design for Test initiatives pre-siliconDrive continuous improvement across the organisationRequired Skills and Qualifications:Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or related fields) and proven professional experience in mixed-signal test engineering.Strong expertise in semiconductor testing and development on IC production automated test equipmentAdvanced knowledge of PCB layout and schematic designHands-on experience with a wide range of bench equipmentDeep understanding of analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics; interest in audio engineering is a plusExperience working in a commercially driven organisation within a product development environmentExcellent time management skills, able to plan and manage workload effectively and work to tight, varying timescalesPreferred Skills and Qualifications:Development experience on Teradyne UltraFLEXplus or other IG-XL platformsProgramming skills in Python and Visual BasicFamiliarity with data analysis tools, such as JMP or SpotfireExperience with PCB schematics design software (Cadence Allegro, Altium)Understanding of audio and/or power management test techniquesStrong communication and presentation skillsThis position is based in our Edinburgh office, UK.You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.#LI-HD1Export control restrictions based upon applicable laws and regulations would prohibit candidates who are nationals of certain embargoed countries from working in this position without Cirrus Logic first obtaining an export license.
