We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Applications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and continuously enhancing essential enterprise tools used by our engineering and CI/CD teams. These tools include the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), JFrog Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault, all hosted in a modern AWS cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, configure, monitor and maintain enterprise applications such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Vault.
- Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving efforts, collaborating across global teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Partner with global software development teams to enhance, secure and streamline CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
- IT professional with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience running and maintaining databases and applications in AWS.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Adaptable and eager to take on diverse technical challenges.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible.
- Proficiency with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
This position is based in Edinburgh, UK. This is a hybrid remote position and will follow a 2+ day in‑office work schedule, with in‑office days based on business needs and team preference. You will ideally be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting.
Export control restrictions based upon applicable laws and regulations would prohibit candidates who are nationals of certain embargoed countries from working in this position without Cirrus Logic first obtaining an export license.
