Analog Design Engineer (#OAEGRD2) â Cirrus Logic
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Analog Design Engineer to join our growing team in Edinburgh. You will work alongside a team of analog and mixedâsignal designers to develop industryâleading mixedâsignal SoCs for consumer markets as part of an organization at the forefront of cuttingâedge technology.
Key Responsibilities
Develop highâperformance mixedâsignal products, focusing on sensor interfaces, data converters, and signalâprocessing ICs, using powerâefficient techniques in advanced process nodes.
Contribute to every phase of the design process, from specification and architecture to transistorâlevel design, simulation, modeling, layout supervision, verification, and final product delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor\âs degree in electrical engineering (or related discipline)
Solid understanding of analog circuit analysis and design techniques
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
An innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Master\âs or PhD degree in electrical engineering
Handsâon design experience of analog building blocks such as reference generators, voltage regulators/converters, amplifiers, oscillators, ADC/DACs, and signal conditioning analog front ends
Discreteâtime and continuousâtime signal processing, sensor interfaces, and wearable health technologies
MOS and semiconductor device physics
Design for test (DFT) and manufacturability, reliability design guidelines, ESD protection, and latchâup testing
Boardâlevel design considerations, including component selection, PCB layout, packaging technologies
Highâvolume manufacturing processes
Location: Edinburgh, UK. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home as business needs permit. Candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate.
