We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Analog Design Engineer to join our growing team in Edinburgh. You will work alongside a team of analog and mixed‑signal designers to develop industry‑leading mixed‑signal SoCs for consumer markets as part of an organization at the forefront of cutting‑edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high‑performance mixed‑signal products, focusing on sensor interfaces, data converters, and signal‑processing ICs, using power‑efficient techniques in advanced process nodes.
  • Contribute to every phase of the design process, from specification and architecture to transistor‑level design, simulation, modeling, layout supervision, verification, and final product delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related discipline)
  • Solid understanding of analog circuit analysis and design techniques
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
  • An innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD degree in electrical engineering
  • Hands‑on design experience of analog building blocks such as reference generators, voltage regulators/converters, amplifiers, oscillators, ADC/DACs, and signal conditioning analog front ends
  • Discrete‑time and continuous‑time signal processing, sensor interfaces, and wearable health technologies
  • MOS and semiconductor device physics
  • Design for test (DFT) and manufacturability, reliability design guidelines, ESD protection, and latch‑up testing
  • Board‑level design considerations, including component selection, PCB layout, packaging technologies
  • High‑volume manufacturing processes

Location: Edinburgh, UK. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home as business needs permit. Candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate.
