About the Role
The UPPA plays a key role in ensuring that students are supported to thrive by identifying and removing barriers to learning and personal development, including attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and wellbeing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a first point of contact for students and parents/carers
- Providing day‑to‑day pastoral support
- Working with staff and external agencies to coordinate support
- Supporting attendance improvement
- Managing behaviour systems and supporting students
- Supporting safeguarding processes and maintaining records

What We’re Looking For

Working Hours
44.75 hours per week, term‑time only plus INSET days
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Remuneration
Grade: G (Points 8–20)
Salary: £23,020 – £27,975 actual (£26,824 – £32,597 FTE), dependent on experience.
