Are you experienced in Exam Access Arrangements and looking for your next challenge? Do you enjoy ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed? Are you ready to take on a specialist role within a thriving, supportive college? We are seeking a knowledgeable, organised and proactive Exam Access Arrangements Officer to join our Exams and Academic & Learning Support teams. This is a key role supporting learners who require Exam Access Arrangements (EAAs) and ensuring the college remains fully compliant with JCQ regulations.

You will work across departments to ensure that students receive accurate, timely, and appropriate support, and that staff understand their responsibilities in providing evidence, implementing arrangements, and supporting inclusive assessment practice.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Coordinate the full EAA process, including referrals, screening schedules, evidence gathering, assessments, and applications.
  • Manage JCQ‑compliant documentation such as Form 8s, learner profiles, and supporting evidence, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support the organisation of exam arrangements, including readers, scribes, assistive technology, rooming, and communication with students and staff.
  • Lead and support staff training, helping colleagues understand EAA requirements, ‘normal way of working’ expectations, and inclusive assessment practice.

If you have experience in EAAs, exams administration, SEND/ALS, or compliance-based roles—and you are a confident communicator with strong IT literacy, and a commitment to supporting young people—we would love to hear from you. This role is part time of 19.5 hours, 3 days per week. Days and times negotiable.
