About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Database Engineer & Architect Lead to join our IT team at Cirencester College.
This role leads the design, maintenance, and technical development of our core database infrastructure, ensuring data architecture is secure, scalable, and delivered within required timescales.
You will set, drive, and maintain high standards of data governance to ensure our digital services are reliably supported across our data systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, maintenance, and development of core database infrastructure.
- Drive data governance standards and secure data architecture across digital services.
- Collaborate with a small team of developers to deliver timely solutions.
- Implement security, scalability, and performance optimizations.
Qualifications
- Experienced data engineer with a strong interest in architecture, database management, and infrastructure security.
- Track record of introducing new processes that improve security, boost efficiency, and simplify complex operations.
