Join us as we forge ahead, crafting a future where the art of cooking and the science of technology converge to create a world that thinks differently about food than it has for thousands of years—a world where food means something new.
About the Role As we launch in the UK, starting with key clients in London, you'll be our technical anchor on the ground. You'll own deployments, maintenance, troubleshooting, and spare-part management for our robotic kitchen systems — keeping every UK installation running at the highest uptime. Reporting to our Technical Lead in Germany, you'll be the direct link between customer sites and our product, hardware, and engineering teams as we build out the UK market from the ground up.
Your Daily Business:
- Own the end-to-end technical onboarding, installation, testing, and maintenance of robotic kitchen systems at UK customer sites.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to maximise uptime and extend equipment lifespan across your region.
- Take full ownership of spare-part management: forecasting demand, tracking stock, and coordinating replenishment with HQ.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, electrical, and mechanical issues on-site, escalating to product, hardware, or software teams when needed.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for UK deployments and field escalations.
- Perform machine updates and retrofit installations across your region.
- Deliver hands-on customer support during and after go-live.
- Document all field work and build out maintenance processes as the UK fleet grows.
- Spot recurring service needs early and proactively propose fixes to reduce downtime.
Base Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or equipment installation.
- Background in mechatronics, robotics, electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience with spare-part or field inventory management.
- Self-reliant and comfortable owning a region independently — professional, calm, and solution-oriented under pressure, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Confident, client-facing communication style — comfortable representing Circus directly at customer sites and managing expectations under pressure.
- Willingness to travel regularly across London and the wider UK, including short-notice trips to support deployments.
- Valid driver's license and fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with sensors, robotics, IoT, or foodtech equipment.
Our Offer:
- Competitive Compensation: A market-benchmarked compensation package (fix salary + additional benefits).
- Training & Career Development: Hands-on training and real growth opportunities as you build deep technical expertise in an entirely new category of robotics.
- Ownership & Impact: The chance to build and own the UK market from the ground up — real autonomy, direct exposure to leadership, and the ability to shape how the region runs as it scales.
- Disruption at Scale: Be part of a fast-growing, publicly listed company disrupting one of the world's most conservative industries, with a front-row seat to a category that didn't exist before us.
- Flexibility: Independence in managing and building your own schedule and regional travel, backed by a dedicated global support team.
