Circular Resourcing are recruiting for a Land Buyer to join an ambitious land and property development business based in South East London.
Land Buyer / Land Manager
Commercial / Data Centre Land Acquisition
Location: South East London
The Role
- You will be responsible for researching land, finding landowner details and making direct contact with landowners.
- The business has interests across utility scale renewables, and land and commercial property development and are one of the more pro-active developers I’ve worked with in recent years.
- This role will focus on land buying / acquisition for commercial property and data centre development.
- Although previous experience within land is desirable, full-training will be provided.
- A proactive and curious nature, a self-starter and an eagerness to learn, alongside previous sales experience is what we\\\’re looking for.
Key Responsibilities
- Site finding and identification of residential led development opportunities across the UK;
- Establish effective working relationships directly with landowners and land agents;
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with landowners and land agents;
- Prepare concise assessment of land for development including feasibility and assessing the planning credentials of any site;
- Work closely with the land director to conduct land appraisals to determine the value of any potential development land;
- Prepare land offers that meet the requirements of the business;
- Prepare and produce due diligence and Heads of Terms;
- Maintain and manage the land list and take an active role in the land department; and
- Liaise with our planning team and external consultants to ensure the successful delivery of applications and decisions.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years’ experience of working as a Land Buyer; and/or
- 2 years’ experience of working as a land agent or estate agent;
