Circular Resourcing are recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Mechanically biased) to join a well-established consulting and engineering business working across the Commercial Real Estate sector.
Our client offer a range of decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services / commercial real estate sectors and are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a technical engineering team and work closely with the Commercial Director to create solutions to increase market share for the business.
This is a hands on engineering role that will lead a small engineering team daily. You will also have responsibilities for acting as a technical liaison for clients and working with the commercial/BD team on suitable business proposals.
- Great central London location, hybrid working options.
- Salary: £75k – £95k DOE plus bonus and benefits (client is open to realistic expectations above this should you be a stand out candidate for the role)
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage a team of M&E Design Engineers, supervising their project related activities.
- Liaise with client stakeholders to develop bespoke solutions.
- Development of client proposals in partnership with the Commercial and Business Development Team.
- Develop project, resource & budget plans with the PMO team.
- Prioritise projects & resources to ensure the achievement of project deadlines.
- Undertake the detailed Surveying of buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
- Prepare energy audit/review reports and recommendations.
- Perform building analysis using simulation software.
- Prepare GHG emissions reports.
