Overview I\’m working with an exciting telecommunications and electronics business who are growing following some impressive project wins. They are looking to secure a Senior/Lead RF Engineer to take ownership of the design and development of the communications interface for their products. The company develop telecommunications and monitoring devices for harsh environments across the globe.Role Role: Senior RF EngineerLocation: GloucesterSalary: ~ £90,000Responsibilities Take ownership of the design and development of the communications interface for products, with predominantly greenfield development and minimal supervision.Work independently to solve problems and deliver complete RF circuitry solutions for the team.Essential skills Design of amplifiers, filters, LNAs and antennas from first principleUnderstanding of satellite comms, LoRa, INS and GNSSAppreciation of general electronics, mechanical and software systems (power, digital control etc)Knowledge of blocker/jammer toleranceWillingness to complete rigorous RF testingLocation note Due to the idea/knowledge sharing nature of the work and company, the work will be on-site in Gloucester.
