I\βm working with an exciting telecommunications and electronics business who are growing following some impressive project wins. They are looking secure a Senior/Lead RF Engineer to take ownership of the design and development of the commnucations interface for their products. The company develop telecommunications and monitoring devices for harsh environments across the globe. The role involves predominantly greenfield development with very little (if any!) supervision so it\βs vital that you\βre able to work independently, problem solve and take complete ownership of the RF circuitry for the team. ROLE: Senior RF Engineer LOCATION: Gloucester SALARY: ~ Β£90,000 Essential skills for the RF Engineer are: * Design of amplifiers, filters, LNAs and antennas from first principle * Understanding of satellite comms, LoRa, INS and GNSS * Appreciation of general electronics, mechanical and software systems (power, digital control etc) * Knowledge of blocker/jammer tolerance * Willingness to complete rigorous RF testing Due to the idea/knowledge sharing nature of the work and company, the work will be on-site in Gloucester.
