I'm recruiting for an exciting tech start-up business in Cheltenham who are looking to grow their R&D and engineering team. They're looking for someone to manage the team and take charge of the technical direction of the products. The company design and manufacture products for use in surveillance, defence, telecoms and security across the globe.
LOCATION: Cheltenham
SALARY: ~ £85k (+ equity options)
Skills required for the Engineering Team Lead are:
- Experience leading successful team (currently 6 engineers)
- Exposure to growing/start-up/scale-up business
- Hardware or electronics background
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Communication with software/firmware/mechanical teams
- Experience designing products for safety-critical or harsh/extreme environments would be great too.
The work is all on-site in Cheltenham but the business can offer flexible working for those who need it.
