I\’m recruiting for a successful start-up Cheltenham who are looking to hire an Embedded Software Engineer to develop protocols/interfaces for their products. The work involves development on Nordic chips, interfacing with comms protocols (BLE, MQTT, GPRS) for telecoms, security, surveillance and robotics related products. ROLE: Embedded Software Engineer LOCATION: Cheltenham SALARY: up to £65k Skills required for the Embedded Software Engineer are: * Embedded C * Microcontrollers (ideally TI/Nordic/ARM) * Comms protocols (MQTT, BLE, GPRS) * Design for safety-critical or harsh-environments * C++ / Python skills would be beneficial Although they can offer some flexibility around working hours (start/end times), the work must be done on-site with the rest of the team.
