I\’m recruiting for a technology start-up in Cheltenham who are looking for someone to lead the test function across their range of products. It\’s a genuinely unique opportunity to have an impact on product development and company direction.
The work involves a mix of hands-on electronic testing (scopes, analysers, some RF testing) along with environmental testing (mostly temperature with some virbration, shock and fatigue).
ROLE: Electronic Test Engineer
SALARY: up to 60k (+ pension, private healthcare & flexible hours)
LOCATION: Cheltenham
START: ASAP
Skills required for the Electronic Test Engineer are:
- Electronic test equipment (scopes, analysers, generators, RF testing)
- Some knowledge of environmental testing (ideally temperature)
- Ability/desire to work self-sufficiently with little supervision
- Hands-on prototyping / general electronics skills
The R&D nature of the work means that this will be on-site. However, flexibility with hours is fine (within reason of course!)
