Circuit Solutions is looking for a dedicated Electronic Production Operative to join our team. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and higher-level box builds, ensuring our clients receive high-quality, defect-free products.
Whether you are already experienced or looking to expand your skills, we provide full training across SMT, PTH, and mechanical assembly!
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Assembly: Align, fit, and assemble components using hand/power tools, selective solder machines, and Cropmatic cropping equipment.
- Kitting & Logistics: Perform kit checks, kitting/de-kitting, stock checks, and assist in moving materials across SMT, PTH, and Mechanical assembly areas.
- Quality & Inspection: Inspect materials for defects, de-panel PCB assemblies, perform minor rework, and strictly adhere to our Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret assembly drawings, job packs, and technical specifications to determine building sequences—providing feedback to Engineering when needed.
- Daily Operations: Keep accurate written/electronic records, maintain exceptional housekeeping, follow ESD precautions on the shop floor, and flag any material or resource constraints to the supervisor early.
What We Are Looking For:
- Technical Knowledge: A good understanding of electronic components and the ability to visualise how parts look once assembled.
- Dexterity & Detail: Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to inspect goods to high standards.
- Organisation & Communication: Strong reading/writing comprehension, computer literacy, and the ability to work effectively to strict production deadlines.
- Proactive Mindset: A team player who suggests ways to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain health and safety.
