About Circuit Mind

We are a deep tech startup on a mission to enable the next generation of hardware inventions. We are building a product that automates the design of electronic circuit boards creating high-quality electronic systems, lightning fast. We are tackling hard problems that no one has ever solved before, pushing beyond what is currently thought to be possible. Electronic circuit boards are at the core of current and future inventions - space travel, medical robotics, autonomous transportation, augmented reality, bio-engineering. Yet today designing an electronic circuit board is an extremely manual, long and tedious process. At Circuit Mind we believe that this is wrong and we are on a mission to fix it, triggering the future of hardware design. We enable our customers to go to market faster with better hardware products and lower costs, via our entirely new software engine for circuit boards. This takes as inputs the requirements of a circuit board and automatically outputs a complete design, ready for manufacture.

Your mission is to lead the crafting of new capabilities for this amazing product.

Mission

Your mission is to craft the best possible solutions to the right set of Circuit Mind’s user problems.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand our users and their problems. This is a nontrivial task, as our users are electronics engineers and so their needs and wants are highly technical. To achieve this understanding, you’ll be able to conduct user interviews and you’ll have access to our internal team of seasoned electronic engineers, who love to explain electronics.
  • Understand the existing product capabilities and the business strategy (including ICPs, sales motion, pricing, distribution, ecosystem).
  • Lead the crafting of solutions to users’ needs and wants, by leveraging the inputs of our talented software development team and UX contractors. This includes formulating and testing hypotheses upfront, as well as measuring success and iterating on the solution. The term solutions here refers to novel software capabilities.
  • Ruthlessly prioritise the development of solutions, based on business strategy and customer requests, and effectively communicate to the rest of the team the underlying reasoning.
  • Project manage the solutions delivery, including check-ins with the software team, managing plan changes, performing QA, and communicating the new solutions to our users.
  • Help define the product strategy.

Qualifications

  • A background in electronics engineering or previous experience in electronic circuit board design.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a product manager of a B2B software product.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Scrappy self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Nice to have: experience in an early-stage startup environment.

Benefits

  • Collaboration with a friendly world-class team.
  • Above market rate salary and meaningful equity.
  • 25 days of annual holidays plus bank holidays.
  • Flexible working hours with two days a week in the office.
  • 5 weeks per year to work wherever you want in the world.
