Electronic circuit boards are at the core of current and future inventions - space travel, medical robotics, autonomous transportation, augmented reality, bio-engineering. Yet today designing an electronic circuit board is an extremely manual, long and tedious process. At Circuit Mind we believe that this is wrong and we are on a mission to fix it, triggering the future of hardware design.
To achieve its mission, Circuit Mind has created a library of electronic component digital twins. Each digital twin models the data of the component’s datasheet. These digital twins are then utilised by Circuit Mind’s platform to generate circuit designs that align with user specifications. We are creating an entirely new software engine for circuit boards, that takes as inputs the requirements of a circuit board and automatically outputs a complete design, ready for manufacture.
We are hiring a Circuit Design Engineer (AI) to join our Library Team on a mission to create an unprecedented database of electronic components. Each entry in the database contains full information about an electronic component. Rapidly create high-quality electronic component models by using our cutting edge AI powered software:
- Validate data extracted by our preprocessing algorithms
- Inform the work of the internal software development team in order to enable faster and more reliable digital twin creation processes
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Proficiency in selecting components for analogue, digital and mixed signal circuit boards.
- Knowledge of schematic design principles for analogue, digital and mixed signal circuit boards.
- Experience with at least one professional electronic CAD software package (Mentor, Cadence, Altium, Zuken) and willingness to learn others.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to use Excel.
- Experience in schematic capture and/or component selection for relatively complex circuit boards: 100+ components, 4+ layers, high-speed digital signals, sensitive analog components.
- Experience in circuit analysis such as timing analysis, transient analysis, DC operating point calculations.
- Knowledge of PCB layout principles for analogue, digital and mixed signal circuit boards.
Pay range and compensation package:
- ~ 25 days of annual holidays plus bank holidays.
- ~ London Bridge office.
- ~ Extended parental leave.
- ~ Learning and development budget to support your professional development.
- ~ We are hiring for a full-time employee in the UK or a contractor outside the UK.
At Circuit Mind we value diversity and foster an inclusive environment. If you have an additional necessity or disability that requires accommodation, please let us know so we can adjust the interview process to your needs.
