Role overview
More than 600,000 people every week rely on Circuit Laundry, many of them students living in accommodation across the UK and Ireland.
We're looking for an outgoing, organised marketer who enjoys travelling, meeting people and engaging with student culture. You'll represent the Circuit brand at events, gather customer feedback and help make laundry feel less like a chore.
This is a varied role combining event marketing with support for social media and seasonal campaigns. One week you could be running Freshers' events on campus, the next creating social content or helping deliver marketing campaigns.
The role is field-based, with regular travel across the UK and Ireland and occasional visits to our Ripponden (West Yorkshire) office. You'll need to be comfortable managing your own schedule and travelling when required.
In return, you'll have the opportunity to help shape a leading student brand while seeing much of the UK and Ireland.
What the role looks like
The role has a strong events focus, particularly during Freshers' and welcome periods in September, October and January. During these busy times, you'll be visiting sites, running events and representing Circuit in person.
Outside of peak periods, you'll focus on planning campaigns, managing social media, building relationships with sites and preparing for upcoming activity. It's a varied role that balances hands-on student engagement with broader marketing responsibilities.
Key tasks
What you’ll be doing Events
-Representing Circuit at freshers’ fairs and welcome fairs at universities and student accommodation sites nationwide, particularly through September, October and January.
-Attending events throughout the rest of the year, such as vintage clothing fairs, to engage our audience in different settings. You can expect around 1–2 events per week, and we try to cluster them close together where possible.
-Being the lead Circuit representative on site, including setting up, running and packing down event activity independently.
Social media and reviews
-Owning and running Circuit’s social media accounts day to day, including planning content, posting and engaging with our community.
-Driving app store reviews through creative, on-brand campaigns.
-Working with our Campaign Manager to share engagement feedback with our customers.
Seasonal campaigns
-Planning and running nationwide competitions that get people talking about Circuit.
-Supporting wider marketing campaigns designed to build better laundry habits, spanning both digital activity and in-person events.
Criteria
Knowledge, skills and experience
-Someone who is excited about being the face of a brand in person, talking to students and representing Circuit confidently at events.
-Experience of university life would help, but isn’t essential.
-Some experience running or contributing to social media accounts, whether for a personal account, university society, brand or similar.
-Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
-Confident planning your time, working independently and coordinating event activity, with support from the marketing team.
-A full UK driving licence, which is essential given the travel involved.
-Willing and able to travel across the UK and Ireland for events, including overnight stays during busier periods.
