Circle National Enquiry Centre in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join their team of staff.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include

  • You create a warm, welcoming and professional environment for all patients, visitors, colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • You greet and assist patients and visitors, responding to enquiries and providing clear information, directions and guidance as required.
  • You maintain effective communication with departments and stakeholders to support the smooth running of reception and administrative services.
  • You act as a point of contact for facilities teams, contractors and external visitors, ensuring enquiries and requests are managed efficiently.
  • You maintain confidentiality and Data Protection standards at all times, ensuring patient, employee and company information is handled securely and appropriately.
  • You promote and maintain a professional image of Circle Health Group, demonstrating excellent customer service in every interaction.

Applicants should meet the following criteria

  • Previous experience in a reception, customer service or administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, visitors and colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism, empathy and a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and effective when working under pressure or managing challenging situations.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, professionalism and discretion.
