Our client, a leading mid-market investment bank, is expanding its top-tier Healthcare team in London and is looking to hire at both Associate and Senior Associate level. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most active and well-regarded healthcare franchises in the mid-market, with a consistent deal pipeline and genuine sector specialism across pharma, biotech, medtech, healthcare services, and digital health.
The Opportunity: You'll be working on a high volume of live mandates, predominantly sell-side M&A, with exposure to private equity-backed processes, founder-led businesses, and cross-border transactions. The team has a strong reputation for running tightly-managed processes and giving associates real responsibility early — you'll be leading workstreams, owning client interactions, and mentoring analysts from day one. Senior Associates can expect a clear runway to VP, with the bank investing meaningfully in internal progression.
Candidate requirements: The team is open-minded on background and will consider strong candidates from mid-market investment banks, M&A boutiques, or Big 4 corporate finance & transaction advisory teams. The non-negotiable is genuine healthcare sector experience — you should be able to talk credibly about sub-sector dynamics, recent precedents, and the buyer universe. Associates will typically have 2-4 years of relevant experience, Senior Associates 4-6 years. Strong financial modelling, a sharp commercial instinct, and the polish to be client-facing are essential.
