Our client, a highly regarded elite US boutique investment bank, is seeking an exceptional Analyst (1st – 3rd Year) to join their market-leading Restructuring team in London. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected names in the industry on complex, high-profile mandates spanning both debtor and creditor-side advisory. The team has had a standout year, advising on a number of the most significant restructuring and special situations transactions across EMEA. With a lean deal team structure and a genuine meritocracy, analysts are given exposure and responsibility well beyond what is typical at bulge bracket peers.
The Role
You will play an integral part on live mandates, taking ownership of financial modelling, capital structure analysis, valuation work, and the preparation of client materials. You will work directly with senior bankers and clients from day one, gaining exposure to a broad range of situations including Chapter 11, schemes of arrangement, restructuring plans, liability management exercises, distressed M&A, and debt advisory assignments.
Requirements
Candidates must have prior restructuring or debt advisory experience gained at an investment bank, advisory firm, or Big Four restructuring practice. You will have a strong academic background from a top-tier university, excellent technical and modelling skills, and the commercial maturity to thrive in a demanding, deal-focused environment.
