A qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Strong software proficiency - ETAP, Amtech/ProDesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS, and Microsoft tools.

Experience designing PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems.

Understanding of energy-reduction strategies and approaches to decarbonising buildings.

Experience in design consultancy and/or contractor design environments.

Key project areas:

  • Large airport expansion projects
  • Data centre work for global providers
  • Defence secure/mission critical projects
  • Nuclear power stations (Hinkley Point, SMR projects, fusion development)

Most important candidate quality: Interpreting and understanding detailed project briefs.

Designing and specifying electrical systems, including LV & MV power, earthing, PV, BESS, and grid-connected renewable technologies.

Producing detailed electrical calculations using industry-standard tools such as Trimble ProDesign, ETAP, and PV design software.

Preparing high-quality technical specifications.

Working closely with our BIM team to develop coordinated Revit models and drawings.

Carrying out site surveys, inspections, and monitoring installation works.
