3 Line IT Support Engineer - Hertford (2 days WFH) - MSP - up to £42K (DOE)

Due to continued growth, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner based in Hertford is looking for a 3 Line IT Support Engineer to join the team.

Key Skills required:
/n
/n
- Windows Server 2022/2019/2016, OS 11/10
/n
- Office 365 & SharePoint administration
/n
- Microsoft Exchange
/n
- Virtualisation Technologies (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V)
/n
- Remote Desktop technologies (RDS, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop)
/n
- Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) technology e.g. Datto, N-Able
/n
- Experience with Security technologies i.e. DLP
/n
- Backup Technologies
/n
- Ideally previous MSP experience / customer facing role
/n
/n
Familarity the ConnectWise, HaloPSA or equivalent ITSM tools will be highly advantageous.
/n
The position entails assisting with T1 & T2 support and managing T3 requests, including precise call logging and appropriate escalation procedures. Collaboration with fellow Service Desk members and line management is essential, fostering a culture of shared experiences and skills when relevant.

As the 3 Line IT Support Engineer, you will have:
/n
/n
- Strong communication skills, both face to face and over the telephone
/n
- Proficient in delivery accurate and clear reports to end users and management tiers
/n
- Background in client admin and support
/n
- Knowledgeable in network and server admininistration and support
/n
- Ability to provide a secure, high-performance, reliable service to sophisticated and demanding end users
/n
- Willing to assist the Service Desk Management team as needed
/n
- Actively contribute by sharing skills and experience with the team.
/n
