We are seeking a Commercial Officer for our Government client based in Fareham. This role will be office based 2 days per week on site for the first month (mandatory). After this, the candidate will need to attend monthly or as required for meetings etc and the remaining remote.
The Commercial Officer role will be an initial 10 month contract, paying between £500 - £556/Day Inside IR35. This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution. Clearance: SC, Sole UK National.
Role Profile:
- Working alongside and advising project staff on acquisition strategies for procurements.
- Leading competitive or single source procurements and sourcing activities, including development of invitations to tender or negotiate, including complex contracts requiring non-standard pricing conditions or bespoke terms and conditions.
- Providing contract management of higher value or complex contracts.
- Making authorised changes to cost and schedule for such contracts, take enforcement steps as appropriate, and lead contractor performance management assessments.
