Role: Commercial LeadSalary/Rate: £ 650 per day (inside IR35) Location: Hybrid 3x per week in Oxford/Leicester/Cardiff as preferredContract Duration: until 31/3/25 We are currently looking for a Commercial Lead for our government client. This Commercial Lead role is hybrid, based up to 3 days per week on site and the remainder of the week working remotely. Office locations include Cardiff, Leicester or Oxford, as preferred. The contract for the Commercial Lead position is until 31/3/25 with potential to extend, operating inside IR35. This role is inside IR35 – Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution. Essential skills/experience required: Contract Management Capability Programme qualification at expert level (mandatory) Experience of using commercial acumen to develop effective and value-for-money outcomes to meet business needs Strong negotiation skills to drive excellent commercial outcomes Ability to analyse a complex delivery environment to make effective commercial recommendations (including the development of commercial and procurement strategies) and present compelling business cases Proven track record of negotiating contract terms Ability to consider and influence the needs of others while observing compliance with government commercial service standards.
