I am looking for an experienced IT Support Technician based in Cambridge who is a great all-rounder. The IT Support Technician will have extensive experience with Microsoft/Office 365, networking and IT Security/cloud technologies to deliver day-to-day IT support to employees across both office-based and remote environments. The role is office-based.

Key Skills:
- At least 2 years experience in an IT Support position.
- Excellent Windows Server (2016 upwards), Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Group Policy, SharePoint and Active Directory experience.
- Good experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficient Networking experience (Routers, Switches and Firewalls) - Desirably with Palo Alto or Cisco.
- Backup Software experience - Veeam.
- Good understanding of Veeam Backup Software, IT security frameworks (Cyber Essentials and ISO27001) and GDPR/Information Security.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Deliver day-to-day IT support to employees across both office-based and remote environments.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform system backups, and support disaster recovery processes.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain hardware devices and virtual desktop environments.
- Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve issues and manage services.
- Monitor network performance, proactively identifying and addressing hardware or connectivity issues.
- Create, update, and maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, and asset records.
- Recommend and implement technology improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and the overall user experience.
