Our client, a leading consultancy, is seeking an experienced Cyber Advisory Senior Manager to join their growing Digital Cyber team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping cyber governance and advisory services within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. Working in a hybrid model from their Birmingham office, you will lead client engagements, support strategic growth, and help organisations strengthen their cyber risk posture in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
The Role
- Lead and deliver cyber governance and advisory engagements, ensuring high-quality, client-focused outcomes.
- Support the strategic growth of the Digital Cyber function across people, delivery, and market presence.
- Manage and develop client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on cyber risk.
- Oversee cybersecurity control assessments (e.g. against NIST, CIS benchmarks) and technical advisory work.
- Produce and present cyber risk reports to Board and Executive-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their risk landscape and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and client discussions.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a strong and collaborative culture.
About You
Our client is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds within cyber and IT risk, recognising the evolving nature of the industry. You will bring:
- Strong experience across IT security and cyber risk domains.
- Proven expertise in cyber control assessments and governance frameworks (e.g. NIST, CIS).
- A solid technical foundation in IT, risk, or cyber security, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or CRISC.
- Experience leading teams and a passion for developing others.
- Strong business development experience, including proposal writing and client engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to build lasting relationships with clients and internal teams.
