We are seeking a Strategic Supplier Manager & Contract Lead for our Government client on a mainly remote basis but with ad hoc travel - Possibly twice a month to central London / Croydon / Manchester.
The Strategic Supplier Manager role will be an initial 12 month contract paying between £550 - £650/Day Inside IR35.
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:
Lead relationships with strategic suppliers and delivery partners
Drive supplier performance, value and innovation
Shape supplier strategies, intelligence and stakeholder engagement
Provide expert commercial and contract management advice
Build and enhance contract management capability across the organisation
Establish assurance frameworks that strengthen contract oversight
Represent the organisation in strategic supplier and stakeholder engagements
Promote best practice and continuous improvement in supplier management
Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SSRM)
Professional Services category management
Contract management & supplier governance
Public sector procurement (PA23)
Government contract management experience
Strong stakeholder engagement & influencing
Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
Project delivery in fast-paced environments
Proven leadership & collaboration skills
eProcurement systems expertise
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook skills
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter with a delivery-focused mindset
