Are you an experienced IT Support or Cloud Engineer looking for a role where you'll have real influence, not just another queue of tickets? We're partnering with a well-established, growing MSP that is looking to add a Cloud Support Engineer to its close-knit technical team. This is a varied position offering exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies, infrastructure, networking, security and client-facing project work. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, supporting a diverse client base while helping to shape processes, improve service delivery and contribute to technical projects across multiple environments.
The Role
- Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 environments
- Troubleshooting infrastructure, networking and security issues
- Managing and maintaining cloud-based services and client systems
- Acting as a senior escalation point for technical incidents
- Supporting firewall, connectivity and endpoint management activities
- Assisting with project delivery, upgrades and system improvements
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing a high level of service
About You
We're open to different backgrounds, but you'll ideally have experience with:
- MSP, service desk or IT support environments
- Microsoft 365, Windows Server and cloud technologies
- Networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs and firewalls (FortiGate preferred)
- Entra ID, Conditional Access and SharePoint, Intune
- Supporting and troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Working independently and taking ownership of tasks and projects
Experience with MDM platforms, Power BI or automation tools would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
