We are seeking a Lead Developer for our Government client based in London. This role will be office based 2 days per week and the remainder remote. The Lead Developer role will be an initial 6 month contract paying between £600 -£629/Day Inside IR35.
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:
Practical experience with modern C# and .NET, with an emphasis on web applications and ASP.NET
More practical experience with leading a project team to delivery packages of work, whether it be a new application or enhancements to existing applications.
The main purpose of this role is to provide hands-on technical leadership within a multidisciplinary delivery squad, ensuring the high-quality delivery of digital products and services that support Parliament's users. The role acts as a key link between Principal Developers and development teams, translating user and business needs into secure, maintainable technical solutions while ensuring engineering standards, strategic technical direction and good development practices are applied consistently
Translating user and business needs into well-designed, secure, maintainable technical solutions.
Making local technical decisions that align with wider architectural direction, engineering standards and organisational priorities.
Supporting and developing developers through coaching, mentoring, pairing and knowledge sharing
Ensuring engineering standards, development practices, security expectations and quality controls are applied consistently.
Working closely with Principal Developers, DevOps colleagues, product teams and other stakeholders to ensure effective knowledge
